When I first got into the business of selling water ionizers almost ten years ago very few people in America even knew what an ionizer was. There were only a few companies that sold them and sales were sporadic, even though water ionizers were selling in Asia for decades before they were sold here in America. Then, through the advancement of ionizing technology and excellent marketing from a handful of water ionizer manufacturers a growing interest in alkalzine ionized water emerged - water ionizer sales began to accelerate worldwide. Where there were only several dozen dealers to choose from in the past, there are now tens of thousands of dealers and distributors for the more than dozen major water ionizer brands. But, a new problem for the customer arose out of this expanding market... now that so many people are aware of the technology, how can you find a water ionizer dealer in your local area? Who has a list of all of the dealers? Unfortunately, the answer was... “nowhere!” Even the ionizer companies themselves couldn’t give out private contact data of their dealers due to privacy policies. The potential customer was left on their own to search for someone local - often coming up short of answers, and patience.
I was receiving phone calls on a daily basis from customers all over the country asking me if I knew of any dealers that lived in the city where they were at... somewhere they could go to see the different machines, taste the water, and meet with someone personally (as water ionizers are a very “personal” type of purchase compared to other “goods”). After explaining that I was a dealer myself, and that I was located in Tulsa, some customers seemed very distraught. They wanted someone local, no matter how much they liked me.. they wanted to actually SEE the machines in person. That’s when the idea came to me. What if there were a single database where someone could find a dealer right in their neighborhood, of ANY water ionizer brand they wanted? This would definitely be something extremely useful to the customer, and also beneficial to the dealers and manufacturers.
So, I went to the drawing board to sort out my ideas. And, after one year of fourteen hour days of design work, code writing and implementation I finally finished, along with an amazing design team, what is now the first and ONLY searchable database of all water ionizer dealers worldwide, of any and all brands. People can now find water ionizer dealers by zip code, city, county, country, first and last name - a massive benefit to the customer. And, if you are a dealer... keep this in mind - You can't sell anything if you can't be found! No matter how much you know about your products, no matter how professionally you conduct your business, no matter how great your product line is... it doesn't mean anything unless people can FIND you. Now, they can.
